Ordering from BestCanvas.ca was a straightforward experience. After uploading my photo, I was guided to select the product type and size. The platform intelligently grayed out sizes unsuitable for my image's resolution, ensuring a quality canvas. I chose a 40 x 24-inch canvas for $61.90 and added wall hangers. The shipping cost was $18.90. I received an email confirming my order, but did not receive a subsequent email with a tracking number. The product arrived well-packaged in two weeks.

The canvas was of reasonable quality, though I noticed a slight saturation issue. The wooden frame appeared well-constructed, and the finish was just right—neither too glossy nor dull. The competitive pricing, along with occasional promotions, made it a cost-effective choice.
Ordering from Picfair involved selecting an image from my store and clicking the 'buy canvas, print' link. The process was smooth, allowing me to choose from three mediums. I selected a canvas with a black wrap in a portrait orientation. The 30x15 inch canvas was priced at $53.47, including a $13.69 image fee. Picfair did an excellent job centering the image, and a preview link provided various settings for visualizing the canvas in different environments. However, the $35.42 shipping fee and $18.04 VAT charge significantly raised the final cost.

The canvas arrived well-packaged with a solid, beveled frame that is almost double the thickness of the BestCanvas version. Mounting hooks were screwed to the frame, and the print quality was acceptable. However, the glossy finish caused excessive glare under artificial light. Additionally, there was a slight uneven cut where the canvas was stapled to the frame.
Pros:
Straightforward Ordering Process
High-quality Print Finish
Reasonable Pricing
Multiple Medium Options Available
Clear Resolution Recommendations for Canvas Sizes
Option to Modify Print Area
Timely Order Production and Delivery
Regular Promotions and Discounts
Cons:
Missing Wall Hanging Option in Received Order
Slight Color Saturation Issue
Pros:
Diverse Range of Medium Options (Canvas, Framed Print, Giclee Art Print)
Customizable Wrap Types (Black, White)
Easy Orientation and Size Selection
Interactive Preview Feature for Visualizing the Canvas
Unique Living Room Preview for Assessing Wall Display
Efficient Image Centering
Opportunity for Photography Licensing and Selling
Cons:
Higher Shipping Costs
Additional VAT Charges
Glossy Finish may cause Glare under Artificial Light
Minor Quality Issue (Uneven Cut) Detected
Remember, these pros and cons are based on my specific experiences and preferences, and they may vary for different users. It's essential to consider these factors along with your own priorities and requirements when choosing a platform for ordering canvases.
Conclusion:
Given the comparable order-to-delivery times for both platforms, I would lean towards BestCanvas.ca for future canvas orders. Their pricing is difficult to beat, and they offer a wider range of mediums to choose from. The canvas's appearance under different lighting conditions was superior to Picfair's glossy finish, which resulted in glare. In the future, I plan to order a print from BestCanvas.ca for a more detailed review and potential comparison with Picfair.
